Latvian love...and hot Lithuania babe sketches.

Wow...I just checked and I have over 100 page views from Latvia.  Go Latvia...I love your beer!  My wife is from Lithuania so I have been to your country on several occasions...basically because its cheaper to fly into Latvia.

Here is something special.  I had this idea to make a set of prints for different countries.  I began by sketching one out for Lithuania.  I want to something that will show traditional aspects of the culture, and hot women.  So here is my first sketch up.  Let me know what you think (my wife was less than happy).

I haven't posted anything new for sometime now.  Here are three drawings that I did that I intend to ink, then color.  I hope they make a amazing set of prints someday.

San Diego Comic Con 2013

So, this year at comic con I plan on doing something different.  I'm bring my portfolio...that's right.  I know that might not seem like I big deal to many but it is to me.  You see for the last 6 years I've been in college and during that time not only did I obtain a degree but I also completed several comics.  I've gotten to the point that I feel that much of my sequential work is acceptable enough to show to some independent publishers.  I know the not so rush a publishers table and say 'LOOK AT MY WORK,' but SDCC always has a separate area for portfolio reviews...you just simply sign up.  It's made so easy for guys like myself that I wonder way I didn't want to do this before...we the simple answer is this, I just wanted to go and have fun.  I enjoyed my last few comic cons without worrying about a portfolio.  To be honest the last few cons I did spend sometime in the Pro-Lounge working on term papers...I know lame right.  Well not any more, see you at comic con.

So here's the deal.  I have been working on completing my MBA and I'm one and a half classes away from completing.  Soon I will be working on more of my own comics.  Currently I've been working on a book called Avenger Red from Onward comics http://www.facebook.com/pages/Onward-Comics/265879683546738 .  I'm one page away from finishing the pencils on issue 4.

I'm also working on a comic book called Bigfoot Fights the Monsters.  This was my original project prior to Avenger Red, but due to some scheduling issues BFFTM has been delayed.  I'm working with the writer Justin Newberry with Aberrant Press to get the first issue completed in the very near future.

If anyone eventually follows this Blog, that would be awesome so I wouldn't be just talking about myself about things I've been doing.  Seems much like I've have a split personality.  Anyway, I've been very busy and I've recently been working on a comic titled Avenger Red.  I have completed penciling issues 2 and 3.  I'm currently in the middle of issue 4.  I believe that the writer (Adam Krenn) will soon be posting information on a Kickstarter to help raise the funds to get this project get funded.  Thanks.
