Hello world!  Ha...a little programming humor there.  Well I've been busy for sure.  Writing music, working on comics, my day job, and writing a few scripts.  One script I'm extremely excited about, and the other needs some work.  I try to please everyone but I feel that this most recent script is something that hasn't been done...at least to this extent and it should be fun.  Also of course it will be something compelling and shocking at the same time.  I'll say more as the story progresses but it should be long before I start to flesh out some pages.  The story itself will only be around 64 pages, but that's enough to tell this story.

Today I ordered my my ticket to the new Dragonball Z movie Resurrection of F.  Yes I'm going alone and I don't care...I've been a DBZ fan for years.

Today we are heading to the Getty Center....I need some inspiration and it will be a good time with the family.

Normally my friends and I would treat this like a vacation away from our families.  But as time passes by things have changed.  This year I'll be enjoying a lovely train ride from Van Nuys to downtown San Diego and back in the same day.  Sure its only one day.  I'll just have to make the best of it! I've been working on color work for almost every free moment I got for an upcoming ONI publishing project submission.  Before this project I worked on a book called Exo-Blast!  It was really fun and the color was something that I previously was not capable of.  Here is a sample enjoy!

New comic books around the corner!

I have new art that I would like to share.  Screen shots of an upcoming book I've been working on with my fellow writer Justin Newberry.  Enjoy!

So I've updated my Blog in hopes to motivate myself in my journey to becoming a published artists.  But I reality what is a published artist?  I personally will not feel like a published artist until I've gained some sort of compensation from one of the larger comic book companies in the industry.

I intend on posting my progress here.  You see growing up in the middle of the Nebraska I didn't have anyone to relate to regarding my passion for making and creating comics.  So I hope that my experience and be shared with others like myself that seem to be stuck and they just don't know what to do.  Luckily today its much easier to become published without living in a major US city but back in the 80's and 90's it was close to impossible to get even noticed if you reside in a town of almost 3k people.

I'll keep you informed here with my progress.  And if anyone has any questions please contact me, I'd be glad to answer.

Change is in the air.

I plan on making some serious changes to my Blog.  After reading through How To Blog Made Easy I can see that my Blog suffers all of the components that make up a good Blog.  So very soon I will be changing almost everything this Blog: design, purpose,  content, and theme.

I want to focus on something I'm passionate about.  I know what direction I plan on taking so expect an update soon.
